We will start from Dogashima, which is famous as a scenic spot. A layer of volcanic ash and pumice more than 20 meters thick is exposed there, and beautiful stripes that are traces of waves are carved. Evidence of submarine volcanoes appears one after another. How intense the eruptive activity at that time was! Let's walk with memories of ancient times. The Buddha statue carved in the pumice cave at the edge of Sawada village is also a must-see spot. If you squint into the darkness, you will see a figure carrying a light on his back just like the sunset of Nishi Izu.

Norihama Beach
It is a small beach about 150m long. Surrounded by islands, the scenery is good, and the waves are quiet, and it is popular with families.
