Free parking.
This is the meeting point of Iruma Senjojiki Tour.

Iruma Coast

The coast surrounded by nature is truly an unexplored area of Izu. Loggerhead turtles sometimes come to lay eggs on the shores of small coves!

Promenade to Senjojiki (1)

After climbing the mountain road, you will come out onto the forest road. You will walk while enjoying the scenery and learning about mountain plants along the way.

Promenade to Senjojiki (2)

Continue to walk along the promenade and forest road, and finally you will have a glimpse of the destination. If you look around at the rock jutting out overhead, you will see majestic scenery!

Senjojiki

A 60-minute walk from Iruma Port, Senjojiki is a vast terrace-like plateau where volcanic ash and pumice layers that have fallen on the seabed have risen and flattened out. There are also beautiful geological formations on the cliffs and huge rock formations. Traces of Izu stone quarries can be seen everywhere.

Mitsuishi Cape

The white cliff that is an extension of Senjojiki is Cape Mitsuishi. Traces of rising magma which were cooled and solidified later in the white volcanic ash strata (dikes) create a powerful landscape.
