You will follow the old highway walked by a young university student and a girl dancer and immerse yourself in the world of the gem of novels. Old Amagi Tunnel
It opened in 1905 and is still in use now.
It is the longest stone road tunnel and designated as an important cultural property of the country. It brought about a major change in the history of transportation on the Izu Peninsula, which had long hindered people from crossing over the Amagi Pass.
