Shuzenji Onsen was developed around the hot springs that are said to have been gushed out by Kobo Daishi. Shuzenji Temple is engraved with a history related to the rise and fall of the Genji clan during the Kamakura period. It is also known as a town where many cultural figures visited and left their works.
