Nanadaru Sightseeing Parking Lot

Free parking.
It is the starting point of sightseeing in Kawazu Nanadaru. On this course, after getting together, we will take a local bus to the promenade entrance upstream.

Saruta Fuchi (Depth)

Saruta Fuchi is a valley further upstream than Kama Falls at the top of Kawazu Nanadaru. At the bottom of the river, lava from monolithic volcanoes that make up the eastern Izu volcanic group appear, and the river flows as if gliding over the polished lava.

Kamadaru Falls

It is a powerful waterfall covered with lava from Noborio South Volcano. Rocks shaped like pillars can be seen in the lava. They are called "columnar joints" because the lava cooled and contracted to form columns.

Snake Falls

It was named Snake Falls because the pattern of the rocks around it looks like a snake. On the opposite shore, you can see the overlap of strata when the Izu Peninsula was a submarine volcano with the lava from Noborio South Volcano, and you can observe twisted columnar joints.

Shokeidaru Falls

It is a waterfall about 10 meters high and 7 meters wide, and the white stream and the bronze statue of "Izu Dancer and I" are in harmony with nature, creating the lyricism of Izu dancer.

Deaidaru Falls

It is the confluence of two streams that meet here and become a single stream. The blue color of the flowing water is extremely impressive. The lava flows of the Noborio South Volcano created beautiful columnar joints on both sides of the waterfall.
